Investment Chain Afternoon Workshop: Building a Shared Understanding of Engagement Across the UK Equity Investment Chain

Investment Chain Afternoon Workshop: Building a Shared Understanding of Engagement Across the UK Equity Investment Chain

This workshop is for direct investment chain participants (asset owners, asset managers and issuer representatives), and will be taking place on 17 September 2026 from 13:30-17:00.

The I&IF and LSE invite you to participate in our UK equity investment chain research workshops on 16 and 17 September 2026, as part of our wider collaborative research project on Stewardship and Engagement.

These half-day workshops seek to convene both direct investment chain participants (asset owners, asset managers and issuer representatives) and wider ecosystem market practitioners (investment consultants, proxy advisers, etc.). The findings will help develop a shared practical reference point for engagement across the chain, fostering better alignment and long-term value creation.

To understand the scope of the project and what you can expect from the workshops, we have attached the background briefing note below. Once you sign up for the workshop applicable to you at the link on this page, we will send you a pre-read for your preparation. Timing are as follows:

Direct Investment Chain Participants Workshops: 16 September, 8:30-12:00 or 17 September, 13:30-17:00

Wider Ecosystem Participants Workshop: 16 September, 13:30-17:00

When filling out the form, choose the session that applies to your organisation. We look forward to your participation and perspectives.
